Why I Became an Audiologist
I got into audiology because I saw how hearing loss was affecting the people I love. Watching someone slowly pull away from conversations, from family dinners, from the things that make life worth living — that stuck with me.
I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota and my Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. But the most important thing I've learned didn't come from a textbook. It came from listening to my patients.
